Sad news

We have said goodbye to our favorite scrapbook store. It was more than a store, really. It's where I made some great  friends, learned more than I imagined about paper crafting and where else would I ever work with my daughter??? So...excuse me while I weep a little.

Guest Designer Try Out

Mixed Media Class

I made this in a class taught by Faber Castell/Design Memory Craft.  I got to use my favorite new obsession, Gelatos.  To make this beautiful canvas picture, we used Gesso, Chalk Board Paint, Whipped Spackle and Gel Medium Textural Accents as well as Gelatoes, Stamper Big Brush Pitt Pens and a stencil of our choice.

I saw this tutorial and loved it so much that I decided to do it myself.  I used Faber-Castell Gelatos, Gesso, Gel Medium and Pitt Pens Big Markers to make it.  I love the way that it turned out!
